Rally Point Details:

We are currently planning on heading over Thursday morning, with a meetup at Safeway in Monroe for anyone on the west side who wants to convoy over to Plain. Those from elsewhere or leaving at a different time can meet at the event. Planning on a 10:00 am departure time which will place us in line at the grounds a bit before they open. This worked out well last year as they let us in early to set up. I have worked with the event staff to set up a group camp area for us again this year. It was great to have space set aside so people could arrive later and still camp with the group.

Rally tickets are available now at the NWOR website along with detailed information about the rally, https://overlandadventurerallies.com/nwor/ (If you buy your tickets before the 31st of March they are at a discounted price)

They will be setting aside space at the edge of the not so quiet section as this seems to be the best area for groups. Please remember if you are bringing a trailer, have a rig that takes up a lot of space or you just want room to sprawl you will need to purchase an additional camping spot if you do not fit within one of their standard 20x20 spaces. We can not count on having as much extra space as we did last year! I need to give the event staff notice of how many spots we need on May 31st. Please do not RSVP unless you have purchased tickets and are going, If you are getting an extra spot, please send us a message or post in the comments so we can count those also.

Should go without saying, but we will all be representing Overland Bound and its founding principles at a family friendly event, please make sure that you respect the rally's guidelines, other campers, and your fellow members. We want everyone to feel comfortable and have a great time. NWOR does not allow wood fires in the campground, but propane off the ground fire pits are ok.

For those that have not attended this event before, it is a smaller event with some vendors, nightly bonfire and prize raffle, trail rides, obstacle course and classes. plenty of goodies to purchase, and a small store and cafe across the street for last minute items, ice cream or a meal. Marrane and Ray really host a great event.

Will post updates as they occur and please feel free to contact us if you have any questions. Last year we had around 25 folks from OB and had some great weather, food and social time. Looking forward to catching up with some good friends and making some new ones.
