Mid Europe Spring Meetup 2024 from April 26th to April 28th, 2024

After the awesome Mid Europe Spring Meetups this and last year, I have already arranged for 2024 that we will be again on the beautiful place in the Odenwald. So, save the date and register here via RSVP in the Rally Point. The places are limited for the known reasons as always. Limit is 20 rigs max.

Let's make this a great meetup together again. It´s still a little time but I am already looking forward to it.

Rally Point Details:

All further information and of course again a nice program will come in due time. Who would like to contribute something is welcome. Also, I would like to invite everybody to pick a topic that would be interesting to hear about and write it into a comment.

So, the meetup will be characterized by enjoying the great outdoors together, good conversations around the campfire and some education regarding overlanding skills.

For all those who could not be present last time and as a reminder some important information:

- The location is a small, simple campground directly at a small creek. It is located approx. 1.5h drive south of Frankfurt/ Main, Germany. Exact directions will be provided in time to attendees who registered by RSVP in the RP.
- Basic sanitary facilities are available.
- Every evening we will light the campfire of course. Firewood will be provided.
- The meetup is designed as a self-catering meeting. A grill will of course be available, charcoal will be provided. Please bring what you like to eat and drink, also your own grill if you like, Dutch Oven, etc.
- Saturday and Sunday we will have breakfast altogether. For breakfast I will try to organize the bread service again.
- Number of attending rigs limited to 20 – please register by RSVP in the RP. All OB members are welcome and this is not limited to Mid Europe members.
- Attending fee to cover costs will be the same as last time, so 25 Euro per person. I kindly ask you to bring this to the meetup in cash (preferably counted), please. Thank you.
- We are out in the nature. Actually, this goes without saying, but the important thing is that we leave the place in order again. Therefore, we will also clean up together Sunday before departure. Everyone is responsible for themselves and their actions; this is not an organized event.
- Please be careful when driving on the site especially if the ground is wet and do not leave tire. Stay with the vehicles on solid ground. If your vehicle loses operating fluids (which is not good but could happen), please remember to bring a cover/cardboard and put it underneath.
- For those who bring dogs: the dogs must behave, obey (there is forest around) and that you clean up after your dogs is I think also natural.
- Let´s behave as always in such a way that we can come back next year, please.
