South Dakota meet up and explore Dalton Lake area

After last month's Rally Point in South Dakota, we thought we would try to see if others would like to join us and get out before winter hits. We chose an easier trail to make it acceptable for everyone. Depending on who attends, we have the flexibility to make the day more challenging.

Rally Point Details:

We will start at the trailhead there is a large gravel lot to meet in at the trailhead sign.

These trails will be doable by any rig with 8+ inches of ground clearance and AWD+ (possibly 2WD if completely dry)

The goal is to spend the day exploring the Mystic area. There are tons of offshoots and ways to go, but it will also require crossing gravel roads or paved highways. It depends on how far we go, but some beautiful areas up by the mystic have a couple of USFS campgrounds with some nice low valleys. It really depends what everyone is feeling.
