Rally Point Details:

Pete Williams here. I'm putting together a 3 day trip to USAL Beach on October 7, 8 and 9. I'm thinking 8 vehicles total. USAL Beach is north of Fort Bragg approx. 45 minutes and it's very nice there. Vehicles are allowed down near the water but not on the beach so 4WD will be necessary. We will meet at the Burger King in Williams, CA. which is on E. Street (old SR-20) at 9am Friday morning. From there we will make our way west on SR-20, go around Clear Lake on the east side out to US 101. From there we'll go north on 101 and gas up in Laytonville. Then on to Leggett where we will pick up US1 south to the entrance to USAL Beach. The trail can be quite bumpy and is narrow. Smaller trailers can get through, though. Anyway, if you're interested I can be reached at 916-759-6964 which is the best way to find me. I check my e-mails about once a day on my computer. I don't have cell phone e-mail capability. I'm looking forward to this trip and if you're interested, let me know. I'll be at the next SFO meeting also. Thanks, everyone. Pete.
