Rally Point Details:
We have been wanting to get back on the WABDR this year and had an opening in our schedule pop up, so we are posting this last minute RP in case anyone else has free time and wants to join us.
Looking to do a good part of section 4 and going as far toward Night Hawk as time and trail conditions permit, possibility of cutting out before the official end if the stars do not line up.
Meeting @ Monroe Safeway at 8am on Friday morning, Will do a second meeting point at Coles Corner on Hwy 2 (Squirrel Tree Restaurant/gas station) at 9:30. We will be entering section 4 from the West thru Fish Lake and Sugarloaf, Hopefully camping somewhere on section 5 Friday night, and as far north on section 6 as time permits Saturday to allow for time to travel back home over hyw 20.
We will be travelling most of each day, taking time for lunch and smelling few roses here and there. Not a time scheduled, regimented expediton, just want to have some fun, adventure and enjoiy some good camping.
Reminder there is not designated campsites so we may have to hunt a bit for a good site, with the potential of "In darkness we find camp..lol
