Rally Point Details:
We will meet at the Family Dollar in Beatty at 11 am with a go time of 11:15. Make sure you fill up with gas in Beatty and if you have a gas can, bring it just in case. Gas is VERY expensive in DV!!! From Beatty, we will head west through Death Valley and Stovepipe Wells and turn off on Emigrant Canyon Rd to go to the Wildrose Charcoal Kilns and the campgrounds. We will be setting up camp at either Thorndike or Mahogany Flats campground. For those interested, Stan and I will be bringing our photography equipment to do some night photography at the kilns. If you want to only come up for Saturday/Sunday, let me know so we can expect you on Saturday afternoon.
