Rally Point Details:

This is a multi-day trip. We will set up a base camp at the Bear Creek Campground and folks can then go explore and come back. Or hang-out. Or just do a day trip to visit. This site is accessible to just about any vehicle if you're coming in off the M1 and take FR 17N33, but there are roads and trails in the area that a high clearance, 4WD vehicle will be necessary or recommended. I'm keeping it at 25 rigs since there are 16 sites, some folks may need to share a site. I remember that some are pretty big spaces though. Also some may be able to come only 1 night and not 2. It's all first come, first served.

I spoke to the ranger and the campground is open, even the toilets.

I'm also open to caravanning up there on Friday. Take the "easy" way up there, set-up base camp, and then go from there.

More details to come. Just wanted to get this out there so folks can put it on their calendar.

If someone wants to handle comms, let me know. I don't have any real experience with that.
