Rally Point Details:

We are meeting at Padre Island National Seashore on Friday the 19th for two nights of camping. We will drive home on Sunday the 21st. Everyone's arrival will be different depending on which direction you are originating from. I think we will post up on the beach somewhere and then update social media/text group with our mile marker if we have cell service. One rig does have a cell extender so that may help. I will monitor 146.460 on HAM and my personal cell will be available as well. This is a National Park and entry fee's apply.

There are a couple of rigs leaving North Texas (Dallas area) on Thursday night, March 18th. We are going to camp at the Bolivar Flats just across the channel from Galveston. The Galveston Ferry runs 24 hours/day. If you are approaching from East Texas area then you could take State Highway 87 all the way down the Bolivar Peninsula. We should be somewhere around the Bolivar Beach area but uncertain exactly where we will camp. It will be necessary to reach us on COMMS or just look for our rigs. This area requires an annual parking permit for $10.00 ($5.00 through the end of February). Get them here https://www.crystalbeach.com/BeachSticker/parkingCB.htm or here http://www.galvestoncountytx.gov/PS/Pages/BeachStickerSales.aspx ... you will need to mail in a self addressed stamped envelope or pick one up at a local store if you can arrive during business hours. This is only for Thursday night on the Bolivar Peninsula. We will then complete the journey to PINS on Friday morning after breakfast.
