Meet up and Trail ride
On Saturday, August 22, between 10:30 and 11:30am, meet at the Union Creek Campground entrance, left turn into a parking lot off of Highway 62 if coming from Medford direction, for a time of getting to know other Overland Bound members, and to check out each other's rig. After the meetup there, we'll get in our rigs to hit a couple of Forest Service roads where we'll go to the Hershberger Mountain Lookout then head to Huckleberry mountain to possibly pick huckleberries or just check out the Huckleberry Mountain campground. We will stop somewhere on trail to have lunch and kick back for a bit. Although this is a day trip, camping in the area is available in campgrounds, if available, or disbursed camping in a place of your choosing. I don't believe any of the trip will be difficult for any rig, including my full size Silverado, but it should be fun just to get out and get to know one another. Of course social distancing will need to be observed. If you have any questions feel free to call me at the number listed below.
