Burro Schmidt Tunnel Day Run

Quick day run out to the Burro Schmidt Tunnel. Bring a lunch and warm clothes; it will be chilly both inside and outside the tunnel. Flashlight strongly recommended if you're planning on hiking the .5 miles tunnel.

Rally Point Details:

We'll meet up at Jawbone Canyon Rd and SR-14. From there's we'll follow some back roads up to the Burro Schmidt Tunnel, explore the half mile tunnel, and each lunch. Terrain should be easy, but it will probably be chilly out. Bring flashlights or lanterns for the tunnel as well as warm clothes.

Please note that the end time is approximate.
