Nimblewill Gap is an easy to moderate trail that sometimes turns difficult, so 4x4 is strongly recommended and high-clearance is almost required. It's only five miles of FS road, and only two miles of it is at all difficult, but it can be pretty difficult if it is raining (see picture below....)
Or just come for the Meetup if your holiday schedule is booked (see the separate North Georiga Meetup Rally Event to RSVP for it, please, since this ride is limited to 10 rigs.) The meetup at Reformation Brewery is super casual this time, just look for the table with the people who look like overlanders and pull up a stool!

Meet at Biscuit Maker restaurant in Jasper, GA (295 N Main St) at 7:45 am for some homemade biscuits and coffee. We'll depart at 8:15ish, and traverse through the Dawson WMA to Old Bucktown to pick up the Old Bucktown-Nimblewill Gap trail. We should exit at Nimblewill around 11:30 am, and will head back towards town for a bite to eat before going to Reformation Brewery for the meetup at 1 pm.
Meetup
Meet at Reformation Brewery in Canton, GA between 1 pm and 4 pm on Saturday, December 14. Come for the whole time if you want to hang, or just drop in to meet the rest of us if you've got a full holiday schedule.
The street address is 141 Railroad Street, but due to reconstruction of The Mill, you will need to enter on Reformation Blvd (formerly Mill Industrial Way) near the Autozone on Waleska Street just on the north of downtown Canton (34.2392353,-84.4957736).
We won't be able to park the vehicles up on the tarmac this time due to holiday activities, but we can certainly do Rig Walks in the large parking lot. We are all eager to see how you run!
