Rally Point Details:
Bring your hammers and buckets! We are headed out to collect Thundereggs, Minerals, and Fossils. I will even have my gold classifiers and a pan if anyone is interested in looking for gold while we are out there during the second night it is in an area where we can pan without a permit.
We will be staying at Whistler campground for Friday Night. There is a single pit toilet and it is free to stay but getting there is recommended 4x4 and trailers are not recommended. (Don't Worry Roy, I Know A Welder)

Saturday by noon we can pack up and head out to the Lucky Strike Mine where there are greater concentrations of minerals. This is a paid site but the fees are very modest. I will be bringing a pickaxe, chisel, 3lb hammer, hammer-drill with chisel (because I am fancy) rock hammer and bucket. Don't forget the sunblock! If I find a good spot I may setup a shade so I can not get burned and stay cool.

For camping Saturday Night we can head to Lund Park Forest Camp to enjoy the water and nearby gold panning sites. There is some distance to cover so we should probably stick to paved roads but I can generate a scenic route for us to Convoy down along.

I'll be bringing Carne Asada and Chicken Fajitas for burritos. I'm also going to experiment with making fresh maple bars from scratch on the trail without burning myself of course.
