Rally Point Details:
Sorry it’s taken a while to get this posted, but as discussed at our last two meetings, going to do three trails over this weekend:
7/19: Corral Hollow- Easy regarded trail that will take us up to 8,180’. 13.7 miles round trip which will allow plenty of time to set up camp and/or head back down and over to Lake Alpine to swim, eat. The eastern side of this trail is the way more technical and fun half to run.
7/20: Slick Rock Road- Difficult trail but very scenic. 3.7 miles and should only take a few hours. Great camping along the trail and at Silver Creek. 33” tires, Rock sliders and a lift of at least 2.5” is highly recommended. Full sized rigs are good for this too.
7/21: Barney Riley- Moderate Trail we can hit on way home. 11.1 miles out and back. Small rocks make it a rattler but great views and a few steep climbs. River to swim in and hot springs at the end.
