My birthday is this weekend 6/2 and i want to plan a day trip. Or maybe even set up camp for the night.
Was thinking about driving through Yosemite and exploring.
Anyone know any spots that i should see or trails/roads worth taking?

Where are you coming from? If just a day trip, I'd head over Tioga pass down to 395 then north to Sonora Pass or Monitor pass. I used to do that in a day on the motorcycle from the Bay Area.

I'd avoid attempting to drive in Yosemite Valley, traffic can really take the fun out of the experience.

Check into porcupine flat camp ground then drive up to Tenaya lake then. Depending how much time you have and your hiking level, you can do May lake, clouds rest our mount Hoffman.

If you go into to the valley, find a parking spot then take the free bus around the valley.

Enjoy!
