not sure how old this pic is, but i just saw it today. apparently, camping next to dead trees can cause a dramatic reduction in ground clearance.

on the positive side, looks like the snorkel is salvageable and maybe a solar panel.

Wow! That is a big bit of wood to come crashing down. When I looked after some campsites, this was always my biggest worry. Even though there was a team of fallers who came every year and cut down every dodgy looking tree. Worst I ever had was an out house took a direct hit. Lucky it was not occupied at the time.View attachment 151436

Looks like it could be eucalyptus. Those things are a menace to society.

I've moved campsites because of potential widowmakers. They are a thing. People get killed from them.
