Why can't I RSVP ?

I tried to RSVP for a rally point but was not able to do it. I got a message that I have exceeded my limit but I haven't RSVPed for any events.

That message does not indicate that you have exceeded a limit for events that you have attended, Someone sets a maximum allowed number of vehicles on their event when setting up the Rally Point, once that many people RSVP, everyone after that gets the message.
