I love making things...especially out of metal...and I enjoy electrical work too. So what have you made for your rig. Did you weld something...carpenter something...sew something...wire something...? I would love to see peoples creativity at work.... FYI I suck at wood working so I will be gushing over any cabinet work...IMG_0024.JPG

I like the idea for the thread. Give me a couple weeks and I'll get some pics up when I start/finish the bed rack and basket for my 2500HD.

I added my OBA and light bar switch, and rerouted my rear diff lock switch when I built my own in-dash Qi charger.

Those sliders look great! It looks like they will be low-profile, am I right? This is what I've been looking for, but it seems that no one makes low-profile sliders anymore. I had a pair on my '85 Toyota that you couldn't even tell were there and I loved them. I don't really want side steps, I just want the protection.

Yep, they stick out about a 1/4" further than the door. Since I drive my truck almost daily, I didn't want to be smacking my legs on them. They are still wide enough that my wife can use them as a step.IMG_0068.JPG

I did the spring over conversion on my rear axle, which consisted of cutting off sway bar mounts, spring perch's, and shock mounts. I welded on new perch's with a better pinion angle and new shock mounts.

I built a rear bumper with swing away tire mount arm. Presently fab'ing up a dual 5 gallon can tray.

@kg6zjl what bar clamps are those? I'm doing the same quick fists but was looking at their roll bar mount set. Those definitely look a little cleaner!
