All I did was design and 3d print an adapter which connected my 5 gal canister (threaded) to a water jug opening (O.D.). Instead of fabricating my own pump, Amazon sells USB rechargeable pumps for about $12, So the cost of materials to adapt my jug was about $13 for me.
