Hi

We are visiting California in April, travelling from San francisco to San Diego along the coast.

During the stay we are visiting Yosemite and Lake Tahoe.

So my question is do you you guys have any suggestions for things to do in those areas, or things to avoid?

thannks in advance

Al

I just came back from a trip to Fish Camp which is just south of Yosemite along hwy 41. It is a very rich area in terms of trails and forest routes and I highly recommend it. You can check out the star lakes and Iron lakes trails or the sky ranch beashore loop which are scenic and less challenging. Right now most routes are impassable due to heavy snow but they should be in better condition by then. Make sure to check the weather. Tahoe is of course home to the mighty Rubicon trail but there are also plenty of less known and easier trails out there specially south west of Tahoe.

With record snow fall this year you may have trouble finding open trails in Tahoe area. Just a thought
