Hello All,
My wife and I will be making a 2 week trip down to Utah at the end of September to early October. We are planning on 2 days travel time down, with 4 days in Moab, 3 days in Zion, and 2 in Bryce. We will definitely be doing some wheeling while there. Was posting this to see if anyone would like to meet up then, and come wheel with us as we explore Moab, Zion, Bryce and any other recommended places. Potentially thinking of Fins n Things, and Top of the World as 2 trails to do for sure. Any other suggestions? Any camping recommendations? Does this timeline look reasonable, or does anyone have input for increasing/decreasing time in certain areas?
In Moab, we are available September 24-25th, 28-29th.
September 30th, we are leaving for Zion and will remain until 10/3 midday.
10/3 PM to 10/5 AM we will be in Bryce Canyon.
We have just started doing research and have ordered Fun Treks guide to Moab as per other thread recommendations.
We are interested in camping off the beaten path, and it looks like we need a permit to do so from what we have read. Around 30 bucks one time expense to do so, is this correct? We plan to ground tent.
Thanks in Advance.
