[Polaris Overland]

Received a comment and some likes for my post here earlier "Almost Ready" when I notice in picture 2 what looks like a UFO.

Never saw it when we were there and the area we were practising driving with the trailer is not a public road but actual a driver training area for the Cyprus Civil Defense.

Absolutely bizarre and @Michael and @Corrie is this an Overlandbound first and do I get a UFO hunters badge ;-)

See picture and time for all the conspiracy theorists to start getting excited.

Definitely not a weather balloon I used to send them up when in the Royal Navy but it is a strange one !

So the Swamp Gas mixing with Atmosphere while lighting a camp fire still could be the explanation.

Ok so the issue us solved at least to our liking.

Apparently every Sunday (day the pic was taken) there are a couple of remote control enthusiasts that meet up close by to fly remote control helicopters.
This fits with the timing and is a plausible explanation especially compared to little green men and UFO's.

But it was pretty cool while it lasted and I will keep the photo to try and scare my grandkids in the future.
