Hey everyone i'm new to the Overland world and just getting started on my build of my 2015 tundra crewmax trd 4x4. Attached is Day One Rolling off the Lot
Here is a list of Current Upgrades I've done and a list of future upgrades and changes
Current Upgrades Include:
Color matched bumpers and grille surround
40" light bar mounted behind grille
SDHQ A-Pillar mounts with pods
Blackwidow Venom 25o exhaust dumped after cab
AFE Cold Air Intake
Mob Armor Mobnetic Pro cellphone mount
Bilstein 5100 adjustable front shocks

Future Upgrades:
Camburg upper control arms
ADS Oem replacement Coilovers
ADS Oem bypasses in rear
Pro Comp Vertigo wheels 18x9
Toyo Open Country RT 35x12.50x18
Baja Designs Factory replacement fog light brackets
Baja Designs Squadron pods
Custom Bed Rack for rotopax and RTT and Misc gear

Added Some Lighting.
40 inch lightbar behind the grille with custom mounts and SDHQ A-Pillar mounts with pods

Added some HIDs and led interior lights and a new short antenna no more big floppy factory one

Nice rig! I had a 2010 SR5 that I did a TON of work on.
I would recommend the Volant CAI over the AFE... I had both and the Volant growled better and mapped better results.
Keep posting pics of your progress!!!!!

Thanks man. and i got the AFE at a screaming deal thats why i went with it over the Volant CAI. i like it seems to have a decent growl when my foot is in it lol .
will do for sure should be doing some more upgrades soon

Oh hey - if you got it at a good price - heck yes go with the AFE!!! Hahah.
I didn't realize you already bought it or wouldn't have said anything!!!
I did find that in the overall build and construction that the AFE tucked into the fenderwall much better than the Volant.
Both are an improvement over the stock box... Which I still have in my basement with the stock mirrors!

Here is a little build update:
Finally got the Bilstein 5100s installed up front to level it out and give me some more ground clearance.
Awesome birthday present from my wife

Also have Husky X act Contour floor mats on order for the truck as well ( No more dirty carpet mats)

Next up will be wheels and tires

Thanks a lot expeditionnorth! Stay tuned for a lot more mods/improvements in the near future. Bed rack for spare tire Roto pax and dust light in progress along with bed bars to mount to the factory rails.
