So I want to do something I can’t seem to find. I want to build a 1st gen Sequoia as an overland vehicle. I have a decent size family and want to include them in as much as they want to be involved with. I’ve attached a couple images I found on google of the stance I like.

1. Will Tundra parts work on a Sequoia?
2. Best websites or people to go through to do a long travel Sequoia?
3. Towing with a long travel rig? I will be building a homemade overland trailer.

Sorry the pics won’t load because of where I am at I guess. But I want a Baja style look. I won’t be doing a whole lot of rock crawling but I will be doing a lot of open terrain type stuff.

Yes, most Tundra parts will work on the Sequoia frame. Same Frame, some different parts, on the undercarriage. Some custom modifications issues, due to the differences. Great engine, transmission, towing ability. My biggest concern is the IFS, and Load-balance.

Now what’s the difference between the 4Runner IFS and the Sequoia IFS? I know the obvious differences because of the size of the vehicles but is that it?

Hey guys thanks for the info. I may just use my 2000 Dodge Ram 2500 and do the truck camper thing. It’s not exactly what I was going for but I already have the tuck and it fits my family.
