Traded my 72 IH Scout to a buddy of mine in NJ for this beast. Hasn't been on the rad since 2000. Not surprised to find both fuel tanks full of rust. Called Napa, 2 new tanks on there way for less then trying to clean and coat these. I'm just not used to being able to call for parts and have fast. most don't know what the hell a Scout is, lol. All so pulled the wheels and rubber brake lines, gonna replace all the hard and soft line for piece of mind. rear brakes and drums look new, just gonna replace the wheel cyl again for piece of mind.

Well not so fun stuff yet, right side exhaust manifold gasket replaced, started to pull the front apart for water pump replacement and found the right side galley breached. This thing would never have cooled rite. Again avalible new, I'm just not use to that. I guess seeing I am so close to the timing chain I am going to replace that too with a pre 71 chain. I hear that little move gains hp. So parts on order.
