I use the Ram Mount tablet holder for my Samsung. I mounted the receiver ball on my dash with a little bias to the passenger side so my wife can change between the Ulysses HUD to the Backcountry Navigator apps easily, but for those solo trips I can still easily read everything that I need to. When not in use the 1" ball is all that is visible.
