I need a little advice. I have a 2015 Tacoma Sport. It is my daily driver and weekend off-roader. I’ve been told by a local 4x4 shop that I’m better off going with Bilstein over Fox due to it being my daily driver and the lifetime warranty Bilstein has. They recommend the Bilstein 6112’s over the Fox 2.5 w/resi (front) and 2.0 w/resi (rear). What am I missing? Will Bilstein out perform the Fox on and off-road? I’m running the Ko2’s and they kick up rocks every time I’m on the highway. Do I have to worry about rocks damaging the resivors on the Fox shocks? Thanks for the help!

The 6112 is a 2.5" body shock like the fox, its almost identical to the front shocks that come on the second gen TRD PRO. The big difference being the adjustment of the spring seat on the 6112's. The both have the option of change the spring if you add a bumper and winch in the future. I would personally go bilstein over fox, but it's just my opinion. https://www.headstrongoffroad.com/ Get in touch with Marie, she is a wealth of knowledge on performance suspension for Tacomas. They also have the best customer service in the business.

I have Fox 2.5 w/ Resi. Night and day ride comfort than when I had my Bilstein.
We're you running 5100's? Do I have to worry about the resi being damaged? Have you seen anything to protect the resi?

Marie is awesome! I've had a few convos with her. Why would you choose Holstein? Thanks!

The trucks that I've been in with Fox don't seem to ride as nice to me, also several guys I know have had shock failures with fox. I have had numerous cars and trucks with bilstein without complaint. I currently run BP-51's though and they are the greatest thing EVER.

Ive heard nothing but good things about the BP-51. I was planning to get them as well until I got a great deal on my Trd Fox suspension

Do you have the new style PRO suspension then?is it internal bypass? I've heard it's pretty good.
