Suspension lift or bespoke work

  • HTML tutorial
Hi guys,
I found out the hard way about lack of off road parts for a car a accidentally bought after a couple of pints, but ended up finding it quite useful. I am an amateur rally driver and bought a landrover LR1/freelander 1, I paid almost nothing for the car but wanted the most out of it. I searched for weeks for parts to get it ready just before giving up I took a road trip up country and found a suspension brand, popped in just looking around and found out they could do anything I wanted whilst I waited. I gave them the details that I wanted 2 inch lift with a very loose flexible ride, a couple of hours later they had custom built a kit for my car that worked flawlessly. With my newly acquired knowledge I went to tunit and asked them what they could squeeze out of the Rover engine and they said with no warranty 250bhp and 270lbsft. I have now found a specialist who works on fast Rover v6s and have a fully forged engine with 90mm crossover throttle bodies twin hybrid turbos, an AWD skip system to give permanent 50 split drive, a welded rear end and a powerflow exhaust that sings a wonderful song and a aluminium chassis.

Thankyou. Thought I could spread the knowledge that you can do just about anything with any car, and that not everything can be bought.
