Steering Stabilizer?

I just got a 2005 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with a 6inch lift running on 35inch tires. The Jeep is a monster! When I drive it though I do not have much control, that I did on my other Jeeps. I am not saying I have "Death Wobble" and I know I am driving a lifted Jeep, but what are some ways to have your jeep drive more stable and control. Is a Steering Stabilizer going to fix this problem driving on paved roads or do I need a new Steering Box? Any suggestions ?

How much of it is slop in your steering vs "walk" in the front end?

Have you or a prior owner replaced all the bushings? And if you have did you upgrade them to poly?

It sounds to me like there is something else going on and a stabilizer will likely just mask the problem for a while until you get a bigger failure somewhere in the front end.

i agree , stabilizer is just a mask for other problems. look at your track bar and make sure all is good there. Front and rear. Also make sure the track bar and drag link are parallel

Post pics of the front end. I'd like to see the components so I can get an idea of what may be incorrect.(if anything) The JK is very poor handling when lifts are incomplete.

A lift that high will need LCA's, drag link flip kit, longer sway bar links, etc. I don't know what your kit consists of but many lift kits leave stuff out. PM me directly if you like.

like @TigersRevenge said, I would check trackbar, and bushings. More than anything though with that tall of a lift you really need a draglink flip so that it puts your steering more in line.
I agree with that but the caster angle is way out of whack if the LCA's are stock. Also, the track bar really should be dropped as well. I do think the draglink is the biggest issue though. I hope he posts pics so we can see what set up he has.
