Starting the build of our off road trailer. Axle has been lengthen and flipped. Installed wheel adapters to fit our factory wheels off the Recon. I have 15" of ground clearance. Trying to decide if I should add shocks.

This was a trailer for hauling industrial compressor, need to cutout some of the steel deck to lighten up. Over kill for an over landing rig.

I would say definitely add shocks. When I bought my CDN M101 trailer it did not have shocks installed. I was on a bumpy section of highway towing the trailer empty and almost lost it because it was bouncing around so much.

Looks beefy. Good luck with the build. Also good info on the shocks. I'll have to see how my build goes with shackles only. Will consider the advice.
