Hi guys, does anyone know what is the name of the company that makes the spare gas tank that you stuff instead of the spare tire? I can only find Titan for diesel trucks and not the one that will fit mid\full size suv. Trying to find something that will fit my LR4.
Thank in advance!!

These are great, but I'm looking for a underbody mount style tank. More like a traditional spare tire carrier, like a 4runner...I saw one in the expo in Costa Mesa a few weeks ago...I should have asked him about it...

Everything that titan makes is amazing but it's huge and for 2500 full size trucks. What I saw was a smaller version of that maybe 10-15 gallons and without any hardware, basically a spare tire shaped jerry can that you can stuff under your truck/SUV instead of your spare...hooks up to your spare tire cable winch.

Make sure you aren't overloading your spare winch if you use these... Two of those is 75lbs of gas plus the containers and the spare winches aren't really designed for that on smaller trucks/SUVs. Used to manage a tire shop and if you overload them, they frequently strip the mechanism and can jam up.

Here’s a more permanent solution. Not cheap though.

I just received and installed the Shop | Trail'd gas carrier. Took me longer to bring down the spare tire winch (user error). This was a good route for me since I now have 35's and my spare on my Wilco hitch tire carrier. The OEM spare tire carrier space was empty.

I believe it is comparable to a 29" tire. Comes with good nozzle and it very hard plastic. I just bought one for now to see how it would fit. I could probably most likely fit another, but I think I'm good for now.

Size comparison against my 35's.

Fit underneath my Silverado.

Just saw this on their description: These tanks are NOT certified for fuel storage and voids all warranty and return claims
Yup I mention gas, but mean fluid as in water. I saw that part before I bought.
