Someone asked me why I like 4x4's.

I told them that some people like track driving, some like dirtbikes and while I couldn't explain why I liked the idea of overlanding/expedition/off roading things, the truth is that it just makes sense to me.

It might be because I like the idea of taking the roads less traveled, or because I don't want to see the same things everyone else is looking at while in traffic.

So far it's only a dream for me, but I will buy a taller vehicle as I'm more or less done with lowered cars for a long time.

For me it's not so much the 4x4 as it is getting out into the middle of nowhere! 4x4s just help you do that.

I'll fully admit I love 4x4s, I have two. The freedom of adventure they offer is amazing. "I wonder where that leads to..."

For me, I spend most of my time hiking to remote places in the woods.. So it seemed like a natural move to have a vehicle that could do the same.
One downside: the boss always expects me in on snow days.. Especially now with the Maxtrax on the roof!
