Soda Lake crossing

What is the best time of year to cross the Soda Lake in the Mojave Desert? I do not want to miss the travelers monument wile on the Mojave Road.

Should be dry by now. We did though get more rain then normal, otherwise it would have been good by early march.
If its wet, you can access it from Razor Road off the I-15. If your following the Mojave Road from the east, you can exit in Barstow and come back in Razor.

The soda lake in the Mojave National Preserve is open.
If the lake is closed due to water you can use the OB1 app that has a bypass from Baker to the East end of the lake.
