just wondering what you all do...

With all of the dash candy we have...gps, iPads, cell phones, more GPS, CB’s etc and etc. running up on the dash what do you all do to control all of the cables running to the place where you plug them in?

Is all there is out there zip and bread ties? There’s got to be a better way. I’m gonna end up hanging myself inside my vehicle or going crazy.

Been thinking about getting some of these

FireBee Cable Clips Wire Clips Adhesive Adjustable Car Cable Organizer Desk Wall Cable Wire Clips Computer Electrical Cord Cable Tie Drop (Black, 60 PCS) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XTC65HF/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_m6PDAbWR3NPXD

What your system to control the cable madness?

I'll sometimes "hard wire" things. Meaning rather then connecting with the standard cigarette lighter plug, I will cut off the plug and run the wire behind the dash and tap directly into the 12v wires feeding the cigarette lighter. You can also tap into the power from the stereo, dome light or any other accessory. This can lead to problems if the device dies or malfunctions and you need to cut power to it. You also need to keep in mind if that power will be on all the time or just with the ignition.

I appreciate the info. I have placed an order for the cable holders I posted above. I just can't stand it anymore. I have to organize! I never have had OCD til now. I guess it comes on with a fury in old age. LOL.

I put stuff behind the dash whenever possible. I like this product and use it instead of loom inside the cab and also at home.

It expands ALOT to fit multiple cables though it. I have 10 charging cables running through this size at home for a charging station for my SAR comms and GPS gear.
