Does anyone carry sliders for an Excursion? I found a shop in Fresno that will fabricate them for me nut I wanted to see if they were available anywhere, I have looked and came up empty.

Sure do:grin: I have a 2002 Excursion and recently replaced the stock running boards with nice, custom fab'd 2" rock sliders. I gained about 4" of ground clearance on the side of the rig where the old running boards would scrape and drag. They are used as my step to get in the rig and has a little kickout form towards the rear tire that is nice to step on when loading my roof rack. They are a perfect pick point for my hi-lift jack too. You will want to get them welded, not bolted, to the frame rails if you plan on using the hi-lift jack because these rigs are so heavy. Mine are welded 4 times on each side (driver/passenger) frame rail. They are nice. I like the way they came out so much that I am currently thinking about having the fabricator do my rear bumper in 2.5" tubes and then using the volume as an air tank. I have a thread going on in Rig Q&A right now hoping to get some feedback from the overlanding comunity.

Where is your build thread, I would love to see it. I know I can get them fabbed, I was curious about off the shelf. I removed my running boards quite a while ago.
