If you can't find/make a local class there are webinars scheduled as well. Oddly many offices don't post them on their schedules so if you would like to sign up for one of the three webinars or the advanced webinar here you go.

It's a good way to put your ham radio to work doing a public service and having a capable vehicle doesn't hurt either. Some of this could also be good info to know in case you are out in the back country and encounter storms, such as Where is the safest place to go/be in relation to a severe storm with a wall cloud? Is that a tornado or scud or a rain shaft?
