I know its short notice but the weather is going to nice so we are heading to do Tray Mountain on Fri and camp. We have never been so it should be good. If anyone wants to come along let us know.

Don’t plan on camping in the Cohutta/Big Frog loop. We ran it 2 weeks ago. Had a great time, but the last night was sketchy with all the dead trees and poor campsite choices. Tumbling Creek CG has some old homeless dude homesteading it. The state obviously doesn’t maintain it anymore and he has called it home.

Also, make sure you call and check to make sure Tray Mtn. Rd is open. It was closed when we went.

I went this weekend. Tray mtn was still closed. Too bad i am on call next weekend or would hane joined for the traverse.
