Look into Berdoo & Pinkham Canyon. To the east of JTNP is Old Dale which has a bunch of old mining stuff scattered throughout.

Yep, Berdoo Canyon is a cool way to enter/exit the park.

Thanks that looks perfect. Any suggestions on camp sites?

If I recall correctly, there is no free/dispersed camping allowed in the park, there is BLM land immediately north and south of the park boundary.

They're both RV accessible so not a cool remote site, I personally stayed at the south area. Check out Campendium for the area for alternatives: https://www.campendium.com/california/chiriaco-summit
