Rotopax Handle Conver

I have quite a few of the rotopax locking mounts and have one that is completely siezed in the handle, on that I wont use anymore because the last time i unlocked it, it took quite a bit of effort and WD40 to get it out. This is the lock I have Pictured. I have found this is from water getting stuck, not in the key mechanism, but where the barrel latches to the lower portion of the T-Handle. Does anyone know of a cover that is out there to slip on the T-Handle to prevent this from happening further (would have to go to the lower handle) or willing to try and 3D print it (I would be willing to send a handle to you). I have been searching for a few weeks to no avail and would like to be able to lock the pax up and not worry about if I'll be able to unlock them if I need them.

I did come up with a temportary solution thanks to @reaver although duct tape is amazing, it likely wont hold up long term. But this will give an idea of what im looking for.
