Advocate III
Hey - wondering if anyone has, or has access to, River Cane or what some call Giant Cane or American Bamboo. Used to be much more plentiful around the Appalachians, and I know some bushcraft folk are using it for shelter-building.
Not the smaller thin stuff that grows only about 3-4 feet, but River Cane that gets 2-3 inches or more across and to lengths of 20-25 feet.
I'd love to have some to carry with me around the country to experiment with in different settings and different climates.
Anyone know a good source? I can pick it up anywhere in the US.
