Just curious if anyone knows a reputable Subaru shop in Whistler. My wife and I have been here for the week. On Wed we tried to go for a drive and the car battery was completely dead. Had to get the car jumped and we drove straight to the auto parts store for a new battery as this one had some corrosion on the terminals and we didn't even remember if we'd replaced it in the past 10 years. Got a brand new AC Delco battery and I cleaned up the terminals. Car started just fine and we drove back to our hotel. Car sat for 1 day and we just went to try it and it is dead again. It's as if we are leaving the headlights on overnight, but I'm sure that we have not.
So I'm thinking there is some parasitic drain, but I'm not sure what it could be from. Anyone out there have:

- An educated guess?

- A suggestion of a Subaru friendly shop that would help out some vacationers on the weekend? (Not helping that it is Canada Day tomorrow too.)

Any help is greatly appreciated.
-Matt

Well, after a jump and inspection of what may have been left on I discovered the very back dome light switch had gotten flipped to on and had been left that way for about 48hrs. Stupid problem, but I think it's better than a dying alternator or something worse.
Went for a drive and the ScanGuage was showing a consistently > 13.5v so I believe the alternator is working just fine. Starting and running great.
