So I have decided to build the ram instead of the tj ... the tj will just not allow the space I need for family . The ram is a 17 express quad cab with a 6.4 bed . I have ordered a toneau cover to give me some dry storage . I have installed 33 inch bfg mud terrains . The rest of the truck is stock . I am on the fence with blistein shocks set at 2.1 to level ... some say they are great other report ball joint and control arm trouble. The truck is new so I do not want to jeopardize its reliability . I am just curious if I even need the level . Not sure how much more off road ability it will give me ... also curious about skid plates looks like the express has none .. and no front tow hooks . I have checked out some sources and see conflicting info on what I will need . has anyone had any experience they can share? I have always built and wheeled jeeps so the truck thing is very new to me . Still wondering if its going to get stuck between trees off road lol . Thanks for any advise you can share .

I have yet to order my skids but the factory tow hooks took about a half hour to install from start to finish. Super easy. Welcome to the group, nice to see another RAM here.
