Why do we have rally point limits on a virtual meet up? And can we please see limits on the event posts!

Why do we have rally point limits on a virtual meet up? And can we please see limits on the event posts!

Glad you are using the online meetup! The system starts to get shaky knees if we invite too many. A 50 invite limit also prevents spamming too many people.

You can currently see the limit on web. Perhaps we need to add this to mobile?

adding to mobile would be nice, also does the person who sets up the meet have control over who comes? I ask this because what if lots of people show interest that are too far away or do not intend to come! With so many members the events will be oversubscribed in minutes and no one would actually turn up. Ah, regarding the limits, it’s not very obvious on mobile but it is there. It in the invite map. We are also tweaking the zoom level for the invite map as well.

We are still working a few things out and will continue to improve. Good suggestions!
