Hello! Might anyone be interested in a long weekend trip over Presidents day holiday weekend? I'm thinking leaving Friday 2/18 in the morning and returning Monday 2/21 evening. I'm located in Northern CO and was originally thinking Moab because I'm now no longer going to Easter Jeep Safari, it all filled up in pre-registration before I got a chance to book my trails. I'm open to other areas, just would like to get out in my new Jeep! Looking to try to keep drive time to under 8 hours from Northern Colorado.

Also, if you frequent the area, I'm accepting advice for a trip!

Current plan is to arrive in Moab on Friday and maybe hit one trail in Moab. This is all based off things I'm finding online, I've never been here before so I'm taking all suggestions!
Saturday morning: sunrise hike in Arches National Park to Turret Arch
Saturday Afternoon: a Trail run in Moab maybe?
Saturday night: sunset hike in Arches to Delicate Arch
Sunday morning: Sunrise hike to Mesa Arch in Canyonlands
Sunday afternoon: A trail run in Moab maybe?
Sunday night: sunset hike to Elephant Rock
Monday Morning: Breakfast followed by trail run in Moab then home to CO

A few years ago i took my first trip to Moab for presidents day; it snowed on our way there and every trail was iced up. We completed fins and things and hells revenge on ice. Not fun. Hells took us 6 hrs to complete due to losing the trail under snow and tons of ice. Since then we avoid offroading until March. Last year i went in march and it snowed again so we did onion creek and tusher tunel, it was very muddy but amazing to see all the waterfalls from the snow melt. I hope your trip went well. I am planning a spring break trip end of march this year. Third time will be the charm i hope

Yeah, it was perfect! I lucked out. Sunny and 60s but freezing at night, 20s-30s, I froze the first night in my sleeping bag then I bought a liner.E7D9D3D7-679C-446B-883A-5E94CB082858.jpeg256420C1-E78D-4B98-9C4D-82A2631CDCB1.jpegAF8B946C-A752-4C00-90EA-7FCEDB6BCA4F.jpeg2EC39EC4-D8F8-4E0D-9E57-7CEAFCF9FC94.jpeg1A971AAD-69F6-4D92-AC7A-609799472FC7.jpegBA946444-974A-4D75-A171-7A6EB5B08FD7.jpegB245CE05-7B39-4169-83B7-9C738FE568CD.jpegB9F21EAD-264C-4F7E-B98D-41AE9BED5C07.jpegEFBBEEF0-5C34-4E93-8486-DE4CC8AB2662.jpeg8CF6A5D4-A8FC-4568-969D-40E353D1CD03.jpegFC2276D8-2540-4760-A2D5-F60B5132D256.jpeg5A2A14C9-7F39-42FC-9E9A-48D047614888.jpegF6392599-A698-4703-BFA6-6D89AF6D609C.jpeg3AC098DC-43CC-4C57-B891-B5040DD5423B.jpegF99F058C-1E67-444B-A4DD-F6BD6269744B.jpeg1881B685-2C80-4017-B641-B454E3AF32A5.jpeg
