Offroad pop up camper or jeep tub trailer?

I have had plans to make a Jeep tub trailer. I need two tubs or at least the rear. I have one am in the process of getting another, but I’m almost wondering if tryin to get a old pop up and swap a wider axle and bigger tires under it would be cheaper or less of a hassle

Yeah that’s what I was sort of thinking. Storage would probably be a whole lot easier with the tub trailer as well
