As much as I love to see fully fixed up Tacoma's, 4Runners, f150's ect. I am actually more interested in the not so typical rigs.

I Myself have been contemplating for over a year now doing a small build on my 2006 Mariner Hybrid AWD. Mainly because it gets 30mpg and I because its just plain different. I did see an article way back of a Hybrid Escape (which is basically the same thing) doing the Mojave RD.

So lets see them!

Not KK
I should have known that. My parents and niece both drive one, even though they don't look anywhere near that outstanding. I think it was the quick glance that made me thing of the later model KK. Thanks for responding!

This is my 1987 Land Rover Ninety, daily rig.

Original 2.5td engine and transmission, sitting on BFG 255/85r/16 MTs.

It's permanent 4 wheel drive but still gets me roughly 23 MPG. Currently have an Engel in the back powered by a 100 watt solar panel and a secondary battery.

Been in Arizona for 3 months now and has seen many dusty adventures, the most recent being a five day, 1,000 mile Moab trip.
