Hi All! Recently retired and built out my overland rig, which is still an ongoing process. I Spent 5 months in the desert SW on shakedown cruise for my rig and myself.

Returned back to Washington in April. Mechanically my rig performed flawlessly.
The only trail I rode was the Bradshaw Trail. It was great getting away and off alone with a beautiful surrounding.

My rig is a 1994 electrical emergency response vehicle named Snowbunny.
It is on a Chevy short wheel base P30 chassis 4x4 dually. Has amazing ground clearance. Powered by a 454 gen 5 engine.

I will be attending the NW overland rally. Really looking forward to it. I am excited to meet others and perhaps get advice on tweaking my rig. Also recommendations on adventures that align to the capabilities of my rig and my skills.20190118_133028.jpeg20190128_170229.jpeg20181213_080659.jpeg

Welcome to OB from Oklahoma.
Interesting rig you have there. The nose looks oddly long for a van type cab.

The nose is fiberglass and hinged. And thanks for the welcome!

I currently have the inside gutted. I am upgrading the inside from what I learned in the desert. I can somewhat describe what the inside was like.
I in the rear underneath the full size bed I have a enclosed 60 gallon water bladder connected to a sure flo water pump up stream is a on demand water heater. I have a segmented stainless steel hula hoop for my shower curtain and a collaosable doggie pool for shower base. It all breaks down and stores in a small bin.
Also underneath the bed I have 2- 12 volt compressor fridges. One is used as a dedicated freezer. I built slides for the 2 fridges. I will be installing a diesel heater underneath the passenger seat in its pedestal.

I have 680 watts of solar and a 400 amp hour lithium battery bank.

Removed everything for now. I am installing thinsulate insulation on the ceiling and installing a 5000btu A/C in one of the equipment bays. Plus I am installing led lights associated wiring and panels.
Contemplating how to make light weight cabinets for storage. The cabin has 76" of head clearance.

Tried to attach photos from my phone but when I select attachments nothing happens.
