Hello OBers! New here and excited for possibilities!

My name is karen & i live Southern California, Long Beach area. i have lots of varied camping experience, but i am really wanting get to those remote locations i see everyone here posting about. Have recently acquired an adventure vehicle set up that i know is up for the challenge. Really want to get my feet wet and join others who seek out this kind of adventure. It would be great to meet up with others in the area who do this kind of traveling. New to this group/site as well and hoping to get advice and LEARN from others here.

Thanks to everyone who make this site GREAT!!!!! Any advice and or suggestions on how to best make this happen are truly appreciated.
