I have a 2010 Xterra I pick up tomorrow. I have zero overlanding experience, combined with limited camping experience. I have a ton of questions which range from specific to very general, I will do my best to find the answer's before asking.

Whereabouts in FL? I'm in Jacksonville near the beach. Been tinkering with my truck and wanting to move into the "actually going camping" phase...there's some decent spots around here but I have to make my setup mimic a Hilton to get my wife into it :(

I'm in the Pensacola area. If you put something together let me know we are on 4 10's currently so 3 day weekends give me travel time.

Spend some time in the Q&A and Boot Camp sections of the forum. More info than you can shake a stick at. Plenty of helpful people around here. If you're on a tight budget check out the thread on Ozark Trail camping gear. You'd be amazed at how cheap you can get decent stuff, at least to get started. Welcome to the forum, and don't be afraid to ask questions! The only stupid question is the one you don't ask.

Welcome from Arkansas. Don’t ever hesitate to ask anything. So many members on here have tons of experience and are more than willing to share.

Thank you both. I have been running through build threads looking at the equipment being used. I plan to just run stock until I figure out what I need. Not sure where I'm headed but I do know its past my front door.
