Hi all. I’ve been doing a little overlanding for years and have dirt bagged it all over the west and in the Baja in various Toyota trucks and vans. I currently own a 2004 Toyota Tacoma and a 2016 Tundra. I used to have an old 1994 Toyota with the 22RE and a Flip-Pac camper on the back. Man, I miss that truck. I love my Tacoma but I had to buy something a little bigger to tow my airstream. Hence, the tundra. I couldn’t part with the Tacoma so I’m looking to make it more into in Overland/Trail rig. I also used to own a decked out 2000 Sportsmobile 4x4 with the 7.3 Powerstroke. That thing was a monster. I love this site for ideas and researching places to travel.

I got the inspiration to join this site after I met some Canadians traveling in Nicaragua in a 1980s Land Cruiser that was totally pimped out but stealth. They started in Canada and were going as far south as they could. I hope to do that someday in the Tacoma.

I currently split my time betweenWyoming and North Carolina when I’m not out west fighting wildfires. Hope to see y’all on the trail.

Welcome! Maybe some day we cross paths on the trails. I just got back from Nica and the Tona picture caught my eye.
