Hello I'm Don and I live in Southwest Florida next to the Big Cypress Preserve. I'm new to this overland stuff. Abd we are not to tech savvy. But we're learning. So bear with us. But we got an 1999 Chevy Suburban K1500 and trying this out. Hope we see ya on the trail.

Awesome! Suburbans are great. I just joined too. I'm in Central Florida. Hope to see you on the trails soon. Check out the Florida Trail stompers group also. They do a lot of outings in Florida and are family and fun focused just like this group here!

Thanks for the info. The suburban is pretty cool for a Chevy. But I can't bet the price of her. I run a second battery and solar. For the extra lights and equipment. Putting a platform in the back for a bed and storage. I've been looking at getting a frigerator. But I just don't see me spend more money than what I have for my hold setup. Including the truck. For one thing. Maybe one day.
